Posted this previously on my clan's boards, and now have completed the final draft. Enjoy! Hey all, this is for the new DM quest, levels 5-45. Red Sea did this last night with a little help from me, and was successful and obtained one of the staves! Congrats to him on his accomplishment. Here is the walkthrough of the quest. This is the first draft so some info may be partial until I am able to get back home from work. 1) The totem collecting: Totems are found off different types of Hea Tumeroks. There are the different types of single totems for this quest. They are the following: Totem of Tanae, Totem of Audutenga(sp?), and the Totem of Volkama. The totems are dropped off these tumeroks: Hea Elder Shamans drop Volkama totems, Hea Nualuan drop the Totem of Audetaunga, and I believe the Hea Iteaulans drop the Tanae totem. The totems can be combined in different orders, and each totem has a unique spell ability. The spells will be outlined in the next category. Along with these 3 totems you collect, you must obtain one more totem of any type to give to the Aun tumerok to gain access to the site. 2) Getting access to the site: After obtaining your totems, you must run to the NPC Tumerok named Aun Shimauri. Give him your extra single totem, and he will grant you access to the site. Be forewarned though, once you go in the caverns, you may not re-enter for a month, so that makes recovery impossible. The fastest way to get to him is running from Greenspire. His coords are: Aun Shimauri (46.7N,70.7W) 3) Getting to the site: It is a short run from the NPC to Palenqual's Caverns, just keep following the same direction you were heading around the Plateau. Coords are: Palenqual's Caverns (48.9N,72.5W). Buff outside, and get ready for a very large download. Immediately inside, there's a building that contains Aun Kerehanua. He sells 5 different talismans, for 5 different types of weapons: Taiaha (Spear), Waaika (Mace), Okane (Dagger), Tewhate (Axe), and Hoeroa (Staff). The talismans cost 50p each, and are no-drop, no-give. After buying your talisman, follow these 5 steps to find the end. Be careful because it is very easy to get hopelessly lost if you wander too much. Here are the directions: 1. After buying your weapon stone, run to the NW corner of the room and take that passage. 2. Left at first turn, right at second and you arrive at a door that opens into a jungle room with 2 Littorals and 1-2 Island Dillos. 3. Enter the room and head to your right and down. You'll see a door sort of buried in the landscape. THIS IS THE ONLY DOOR OF IT'S TYPE YOU SHOULD OPEN - IF YOU FIND ANY OTHER DOORS LIKE THIS THAT ARE LOCKED, STAY BACK UNLESS YOU LIKE CHAOS WISPS. 4. Run around in there until you find a spiral staircase then descend it. 5. The room you're looking for has a fire pit in the middle with a big spit on it (stick with meat). Tumerok is in the corner. Give Aun Imeitanua the weapon talisman and in return he grants you the base weapon. At this point you are done with the caverns, recall out to safety. 4) Infusing the weapon: You must now place your chosen 3 combined totems on the weapon to get the full version of the weapon. Red Sea chose the Triple totem of Tanae(3 Tanae totems combined). His weapon is not buffable, so I assume neither are the others. Just to add he made the staff. 5) Spell listings/chart Here is what each individual totem will do to the weapon. What I list are what 1 of each item does to the staff, If you put 2 of the same kind together it doubles, 3 of the same kind it triples. Example 1 totem= lesser stone cliffs which gives melee def +4, 2 totems of the same= stone cliffs which gives melee +8, then 3 totems of the same= greater stone cliffs which gives melee def +12.
